"Red Hat Painting was built around a simple idea: ownership.
After 20 years of growing a painting business across Texas, I started to notice something interesting. One of our original on-site team leaders began wearing a bright red hat on job sites. At first, he said it just made him easier for his team to find. But it quickly became more than that. Clients would ask, “Where’s the guy in the red hat?”
They knew he was the one with the answers. The one who took responsibility. The one who cared about getting the craftsmanship right. That red hat became a symbol of what we wanted our company to represent: accountability, attention to detail, and finishing the job the right way. As we expanded into the Southeast, we renamed the company Red Hat Painting to reflect that standard.
